Often my interest is in the transition of space (how does space become place?). These images are often found in the liminal edges of a space where the landscape transitions, sometimes from urban to suburban, sometime urban to woodland or forest. Here the garden, as place, bleeds into the woodland space, with a lone gardener working on transforming the land, slowly, but constantly, encroaching on another space.
Spent the morning in the gardens.
At the Centre of the Garden.
A new garden spot.
Today I found a new garden to explore. While it is small, it is very active. There is a reclamation project for a small wetlands area as well as the garden plots. I was just sending my new magazine off to the printer when I ran into this.
