Early Morning Flowers

Early morning flowers, the garden is no longer focused on vegetables and fruits, late summer brings the rein of the flowers. They have been waiting quietly for their chance and not take it. An old fence acts as a defence, protecting a small plot from intrusion.

Inside and Out, Summer Lingers

Summer lingers in the garden, warm days push the plants an extra few inches. Even in the greenhouses the heat has caused the algae to grow more than it planned.

The End of Summer

They year the compost piles build up, and often are topped by dying plants and plants struggling to survive just another day or two. As the season goes on, there is a change from vegetables to flowers as what’s left in the garden changes day by day,

Late Summer, Early Morning, Dappled Trees

The trees, at this time of year, are covered in leaves, their own and those from other trees, as well as the ground cover of vines searching for light, and the dappled light making its way through the woodland canopy. It's almost hard to see anything, like a "dazzle ship" in WWI crossing the Atlantic.

Trees often seem to send their shadows to visit.
